Kimiko Christensen Hammari has loved books her entire life. At the age of eight, she decided she wanted to be a published author when she grew up. She achieved that goal in 2007 and has since written many more books, including Teeny Tiny Talks, seven FHE books, and several LDS puzzle books.
Kimiko attended Brigham Young University, where she discovered that she loves editing books as much as she enjoys writing them. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in editing. She has worked for a newspaper, written and edited content for an educational publisher, and edited and proofread more than 100 books. She currently works as a freelance editor and lives in Utah with her husband and two adorable children.
Heidi Joanne Doxey began publishing books for children and young adults in 2010. She has written five volumes in the popular Tiny Talks series. Her debut novel Liam Darcy, I Loathe You, a Jane Austen modern retelling, was released in May 2015. (You can visit JaneJournals.com for more info on Heidi’s novels.) She is also the author of the board book 1, 2, 3 with Nephi and Me!—a Book of Mormon counting book with illustrations by Emily Konopasek.
Heidi graduated from Brigham Young University and has worked as an editor and writer for nearly ten years. She serves as a committee member with LDSPPA and loves connecting with other writers, editors, publishers, and readers. Heidi lives in Utah, where she currently works as an editor for Western Governors University, but she still thinks of the San Francisco Bay Area as home.
